i think it is the word 'organic' that is en vogue.. coz we don't also use any fertilizer or any other mucks in our backyard garden in pinas in the 70s and 80s -- basta lang tumutubo ang mga halaman; as for those here in germany, 100 years old na rin ang mga trees in our mountain garden and they are grown naturally, too. and you are right, everyone should have the access to good food. and you know what, we don't buy those organic items in the grocery. we go for the normally grown items :-D

I am not good about these things; I thought I had replied to this blog, but it is not appearing, so I'll do it again!!!1

I well remember you Ladd leaving us in Maryland to journey to New Jersey (I think) to meet you and upon return said "I took one look and realized that she completes me." How fantastic and romance novel-like!!! Seriously, thanks for making him happy. As one who helped raise him, thanks for all you do and are for him. Thanks for giving each other Little K to complete the picture and continue the legacy!

I remember well when "the LADD" went off to New Jersey to meet you Tina. He said later that "I saw her and knew instantly that she completed me." So Romance Novel! but alas how very true. As one who had a very large hand in raising your Ladd, thank you for all that you give to him and thank you also for your Little K, it is truly great to know that our heritage (and yours) will continue within her.

hi KK, i learned to love gardening just this year. am now ready to get dirty and it feels good during harvest time. fresh veggies and fruits right there in the backyard. as for the girls, they are eating more veggies coz they are helping in the garden, too. how are you?

It is difficult to teach how to handle disappointments, especially when we ourselves need to do this gracefully :D

I don't usually turn down friend requests because I put these people I don't know in my limited access group. They don't get to see my photos and most status updates but they get to see my blog links, ngek!

As much as you are not a "habitual cheesy and mushy person" I am not one to seek such lavish praise and often have a difficult time accepting it and responding to it. The mere fact that you are not such a person only intensifies the heart felt meaning of these words and for that I am truly grateful. When I first read this it brought tears to me eyes and warmth in my heart ... not that I need any more warmth as your love and devotion warms my heart and soul like a tender child wrapped in soft and swaddling blankets. I am truly blessed to have been graced with you as a lifelong companion as we walk and explore our trail of life. You have brought peace, love, warmth, joy and thoughtfulness into my life and words cannot easily express how I feel.

As we approach our tenth anniversary together remember that this day is like the ten mile marker upon our trail of life and we barely have just begun our journey.

As we continue this lifelong journey always take with you the fact that I love you will all my heart and soul.

Love,

Your Ladd
