Weekly Questions Answered

Thought provoking Weekly Questions question from Teacher Julie from her GreenBucks . I have to answer them all at one time since they have accumulated during my blogging hiatus. Please do feel welcome to take a moment to answer the questions yourself.

#6 Can you describe yourself as a friend? Or how do your friends describe you as a friend?

Authentic friends are hard to find these days. I mean really, it’s easy to meet people thanks to the Internet but their is a big difference from acquaintances and friends. It takes a long time for me warm up to people, that’s just me but when I find a person whom I can call a friend, I treasure the friendship. Through thick or thin, just don’t lead me to something against my beliefs.

#7 If we set aside an extra hour each day to do what we would rather do and not what we should be doing, what would you choose to do?

Right now, I should be folding laundry. We all make choices every second of the day. ;) . I should set aside an hour everyday for exercise!

#8 How would you like to spend your special day, your birthday?

I am so easy! Repeat until I’m able: Go to the Maryland Renaissance Festival with my family. I only wish that everyone in the clan can join the fun too.

#9 What are the 5 simple pleasures that will give you, well, simple pleasures?

  1. Weekends spent over at the Maryland Eastern shore.
  2. Picking strawberries, blueberries, peaches and apples.
  3. Biting into fresh sweet corn picked.
  4. See my daughter smile when she does something she is proud of.
  5. See my hubby smile when he is showing off a great catch(fish).

Thank you for the Flame of Friendship Teacher Julie. I am passing this flame of friendship to you dear reader because you care enough to read this far.

Hi Ate Belle, :) , you’re my kind of gal.

Hi Rachel, Picking mangoes and other Philippine fruits will be fun as well. I just have to make the most of what is available over here. :) There is just something very organic about picking the food you eat.

Tina, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to you for taking the time to answer all of these questions.

I agree, true friendships are hard to find. With the values of people nowadays, it is rare to find friendships that last for a long time and makes one stay on through good times and bad times. “Walang iwanan” as they say.

Exercise, I definitely need that too :D

The Renaissance Festival is a grand festival full of fun. I have seen your photos and enjoyed them. It must have been better experiencing it personally.

I love fresh sweet corn too. And of course, the smiles of our loved ones are one of the sweetest and most treasured pleasures we can experience.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.

I will be sending you an email in a while.

    Have a great week!
