Easter in Baguio 2008

The Easter Bunny came and left colorful chocolate eggs on the baskets that the little girls decorated
! Easter Sunday went very well starting with being on time for 9:00 church service. It’s impressive in my book because when we were younger, we were typically late for 10:00 service. Of course there was the unexpected bloggable incident. After church, we went for brunch at Baguio Rose Bowl. Their food was as good as I remembered it! Then we went home so that the little girls can enjoy their Easter treats and they played egg hunting.

It was great to celebrate Easter with my Papa, brothers, sisters and niece. Of course we missed my husband and older sister and they were in our thoughts. In the afternoon we went to my Lola’s place and spent time with her. We ran out of time to visit with everyone since the girls were already tired.

Sweet and sour Lapu-lapu(grouper) from Rose Bowl, yum!

Nice to see such happy faces. Just looking at that platter of Escabeche makes my tummy grumble (chuckle).
