Our Sheltie Angel

Teacher Julie tagged me to do the Pet Meme a month ago. Unfortunately our beloved Little C passed away around the time. I have been meaning to do this post but I found it too emotional to continue what I started… until today. Our Little C has been very much part of our lives that he isn’t considered a mere pet. He was our beloved family member. We cherish all the happy memories with such a gentle and loving soul.
I hope you all wouldn’t mind if opt to break the meme’s rules and just list the 7 Random/Weird facts about Little C.
a. A Shetland Sheep dog or Sheltie for short. The ancestors of Shelties and Collies are related but just to clarify that Shelties aren’t miniture Collies.
b. The garden water hose just makes him go nuts. He would chase after the water.
c. He loves to eat fish.
d. He enjoys herding my husband to work. He had a schedule(morning cuddle. morning walk, breakfast, bark at D to hurry up to get to work before lunch time, get to the office, make his rounds around the cubicles, waits for each person to eat their lunch and wait for treats, afternoon naps, time to go home, wait for dinner, time for walk, cuddles, sleep) . Yes, he went to the office everyday.
e. He is smart, knows when to play cute with me(when I’m cooking).
f. He shows his appreciation when he wipes his mouth and body along the entire length of the couch.
g. He doesn’t like the sound of the printer.

Yes they do miss him too. Yes, it’s cool and I hope more companies do it. That’s why hospitals and nursing homes welcome Therapy dogs because it works lift the spirits up.

oh, im really saddened to hear that.. i think the first time i visited your site, it was C who welcomed me, well, i mean his picture inside the office.
