Health Nut in the Making
By KK on Jan 19, 2008 in Darnest Things My Kid Says
This morning my husband told me that the Lil K was in the pantry and when he asked her what was she looking for she replied:
“I’m looking for something healthy to eat because I want to take control of my health.”
Then we were on our way to town she said: “Can we go to the mall?”
We asked why she wanted to go.
“I want to burn off some of my energy.” (there is a cushioned playground at the mall)
Is she a health nut in the making or she learned to convince us by saying the right things? Either way, it’s all good!

Aww. Good for her
Interestingly, those are my new years resolution, i.e., watch what I eat and burn calories, in 2008.

Hi Chateau,
We call her the health police but you know she still can’t resist the sweets. Go easy on the chips

It’s remarkable that Lil’ K is already health conscious at her age.

Hi Rach,
I’m sure Yohan will also be talking about healthy foods once is told by the teacher or doctor how important it is to eat fruits and vegetables.

am sure she got this idea from someone who she truly admire
just like MC, she’s been asking me regularly if she is eating the right healthy food and this is because of their nutrition program in kindergarten. but it is good to start them early, di ba

Amazing what kids say huh? I’m sure she hears it form the parents. Plus the school teches them healthy eating habits too.
My daughter refuses to take unhealthy snacks to school.

Hi Leah,
We are more conscious of what we eat now. Yes, the school is also helping to promote healthy eating habits. What does your daughter bring to school then?
