Little Music Critic

Yesterday was the Winter concert at Lil K’s school. This took the place of Christmas programs when schools were mandated to be anti-Christs non-religious. Even if we had such a busy week, I was planning of going to the gala showing at 7:00PM. The school children were able to watch it in the afternoon and I asked Lil K how it went. Her simple reply: boring, we had to sit there and listen to a whole bunch of screeching. That really made me laugh so hard! I guess her standard is quite high and kinda hard to please someone who has been to Yanni for her first concert at the age of 3. They actually didn’t allow kids her age but we had to plead with the ticket seller promising that our little girl will behave. At age 4 she saw The Nutcracker and she was wide awake for the 3.5 hour programme! She has been to a Mozart concert by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerhoff when she was 5. Little critic mademoiselle has quite a discerning taste.
Oh, well… as you guessed it we didn’t go to the school Winter concert as our little critic has given it a thumbs down.
