Show me Your Sunsets

My family enjoys watching the sunsets wherever we go. It’s a beautiful time sit back and relax. I believe that’s why we seek out the water too because that’s where we can have spectacular view. I wish I had a camera way back when because there have been wonderful sunsets that I have enjoyed and not have captured on film/disk. One of the most memorable ones, I was standing up holding on to a rail for support inside a fully packed bus during rush hour traffic. I came from a training in Makati bound for Cavite(I wanted to get away from busy Manila as fast as I could). I wish I could have captured the world renowned Manila Bay sunset right then. But hey, now I have learned or learning to be better bring a camera with me. How do sunsets make me feel? I feel myself relax and for a fleeting moment everything is blissful.
In Baguio I have a favorite spot to watch the sunset. I wish that I was able to take a picture from there but it was too foggy during the times I was with a camera that last time we went. You can actually see the sunset on the South China sea and the interesting part of it is you can see the rivers snaking their way though and heading to the sea.
My favorite sunrise is in Baguio, I can get up early enough to see the sunrise there. Anywhere else, I am not up that early.
Thanks for the tag MegaMom . I do have a collection of sunset pictures, I just haven’t gotten around posting them. I have an outstanding tag backlog and I hope that I work on them pretty soon.
“It’s official: based on clamor from fellow bloggers, I am starting a photo tag. Show me your sunsets! Or your sunrise, whichever the case may be. It has to be a photo you took. Include a brief description of where it was, and how it made you feel watching that sunset/sunrise.
I am tagging Keng, Nap, Tina, Julie, Jong, Geri, Lovelyn, Analyse, Christianne and Lissa.
I am hoping that most of you will have something to share. If not, take out that camera and take photos. At least you will be forced to enjoy the fleeting view, even if only for a few moments.”

Wow, Tina, this is an outstanding collection of photos! I’m glad to have tagged you: I found a fellow sunset-lover who takes pro shots!
It’s so hard to choose which one I like best. Each one evokes a different set of emotions. I would have to say Assateague (been there too:))- I just love the cloud formations, I feel like it’s pulling me in.

beautiful, beautiful photos. My most memorable sunset— i don’t know the date, i was in high school in Caloocan City, waiting for my “sundo”— the sun was setting and it was huge!!!
Then, there are the sunsets over Manila Bay.
I love your photo of Lake Artemesia.
