My Inspiration to Join PPP?

During the last weeks of summer(August), we brought Lil K to a visit to the Coinstar machine. It’s a machine where you drop all your coins that you want to convert into bills. Her little coin jar was over-flowing. Every day when daddy comes home, he usually gives the loose change to Lil K to put in her “bank.” She is also good at picking up coins where ever she went.
Ever since I placed Adsense on my blog, I used to take a look at the “earnings” every fricking day! It’s habit forming. I must confess that because of my work background, I have this thing about status monitoring every morning. It became a part of my routine to annoy myself of counting cents! I started counting in cents when I buy something, just imagine that a shirt would cost 500 cents($5)! Everything looked so darn expensive. I was telling my daughter when she asks me to buy something that it would cost too many clicks.
A visit to the Coinstar was the last straw. My daughter made $150 from her coin jar and I only had $19 from my Adsense eversince they were plastered on my blog last year. Just imagine all my time and effort only got me $19. I was beyond embarrassed. I was desperate! I was already thinking of going back to work and would even take shift work and weekends. Something I told myself before that I should only take work that would not make me go nights and weekends to prioritize family time.
So far with PPP, I’m happy that I’m able to make some money at the same time I’m able to fetch my daughter from school and even volunteer one hour a day! Although, I may not have a squeaky clean house at least I am able to prepare healthy breakfast and dinner for my family most of the time. It’s just the beginning and I intended to learn some more. Who knows by next year I would be a SEO consultant charging $250/hour working from home. It’s a nice thought. For now I continue to challenge myself to come up with enough funds for my Mac.
I do enjoy reviewing products and services that’s why it’s really not like it’s “work” to me. It’s great to learn new products and services. It’s very interesting to find out what are the new promotions from different companies. This is just the beginning of the new media, I think by next year TV ads would really “feel” the impact.
Speaking of new media, I’m sure you know by now that the screen writers are on strike because they want to receive royalties from their work when it’s shown on the Internet. I actually thought that they were already getting it. Internet is just a different medium to transport their work so it’s only fair that they get a piece of the pie. These big movie and TV companies should share and not keep most of the earnings to themselves. Without the writers there would be no stories!

Hi Tina!
As a Coinstar Rep I thought you might be interested in knowing that there’s more than $10 billion (yes, Billion) in loose change hiding in homes across the U.S., which is roughly a $90 stash among those households that accumulate.
That’s so great that your daughter had $150 in her coin jar! What did she decide to do with her money? We would love to hear her Cash-In story! You can share your story with us here at Coinstar for a chance for your daughter’s story to be featured on the Cointar website and on Coinstar machines in your howetown: [link edited ]/p>

Hey Sydney,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. Would Coinstar be interested for me to blog about Coinstar? My rates aren’t really that expensive.
Please check my post on this. Advertising your business./
We do use coinstar and we saw a new one in Walmart but it was broken.
My daughter is saving up her coins for college. She didn’t spend it.
