Autum Foliage and Skies

028_25.JPGThis is the continuation of The Magic of Autumn series. The following pictures have been taken in the Fall of 2003. You may notice the change of the quality of the pictures. They aren’t as crisp as the first ones. These photos were taken with a film Canon 35mm camera. I have to admit that I didn’t warm up to the digital camera for a while. I had this funny attachment to the film camera. It’s still good to have it as a back-up though. My family and I like to take walks at the Lake Artemesia during Fall. It’s the nearest park where we can enjoy the foliage during the week. The lake is man made, there are no natural lakes in Maryland. It used to be a marsh that belonged to a lady named Artemesia and she donated it to become a park. My husband grew up around the area and he used to play here when he was growing up. Here are some pictures:

As young as she was, Little K wanted to be in charge. It’s a great trait to have but during toddlerhood, it was quite a challenge for me.

By Fall, I loose my tan. :(

Those are geese up on the sky. Their squacks are just a part of the ambiance. Their journey south during Fall. They make their way to warmer places, wouldn’t be nice if we did the same? When I hear the geese fly overhead, it reminds me to get the warmer clothes out of the storage.

The skies are just amazing during this time of the year.
