MacBook Challenge

More than a month ago, I started an experiment. I wanted to find out if I can make enough funds from PayPerPost for a Canon SD 850 or a cute Coach purse that I have been eyeing at Costco. Now I have enough to buy both and I don’t need to choose from either one. But I have changed my mind yet again and aiming to buy a MacBook this time. Will I be able to buy a MacBook from PPP? Join me for the challenge.
My almost 7 year old Sony Vaio conked up on me earlier this Spring, due to more pressing financial priorities, replacing my computer went at the bottom of the pile. This would be the first time I would be buying myself a computer. My PCs and laptops has always been provided by the companies I was working for. But my very first one was provided by Mi Padre for me to be able to finish my Thesis during my senior year in college. It was a 486 with a 1 Gig of hard drive, I felt I had the biggest hard drive because most of my classmates only had 512Mb. Can you just believe that it was only 11 years ago?! Now we are already talking in Tera bytes of hard drive in personal computers. Wow! Dang! I feel so ancient. Hahaha. It actually feels like a different lifetime.

wow! I’ve been wanting to get myself a mac too, kaso hirap ako gumamit, Nelson and Ish both have their macs, kami naman ni josh mga pc users, fair enough di ba?
Hope you get it soon Tina, chaka nalang yang coach bag na yan, meron ka pa naman existing camera, chaka na din yun. Pati tuloy ako na-challege sayo, have to make extra good sa PPP, aabang ng mga tig 10, kung wala, kahit 3 na tig 5 ok na din ^_^

Wow. Good for you. I still have to optimize my PPP potential hehehe.
I was surprised when a read about terabytes in Nashman’s blog. Akala ko nagbibiro siya. I thought kasi that gig ang pinakamalaki.
My first computer was also a 486. I think it can still work. Alam ko ginagamit pa rin sa ili

Thank you. I want to learn how to use a Mac. I have heard alot of good things about them. Instead of buying a Coach, I bought a $15 Nine West, oh diba? Just to satisfy my purse itch, hahaha. I have been getting tired of saying, I wish I brought the camera. The DSLR is so big to stuff it in my purse, that’s why I was looking into a smaller one. Mahirap yung 3 tig 5’s, dapat 6 posts total in a day, kakapagod.

Storage space is very cheap now unlike before.
Buhay pa ang 486 mo? Hindi na ginagamit ang PC ko kasi namatay yung monitor, gusto palitan ng flat screen.

I think it can still work. But the folks back home are no longer using it ever since they got a new computer. Inisnab na nila hehe.
