Tooth Fairy Inflation Rates

Three weeks ago Lil K came down excitedly down the steps one Saturday morning.

Little K: Mommy, Daddy! Look!
Me: Good morning! What’s so exciting this morning?
Little K: My tooth is wiggling! <*smiling from ear to ear*>
Me: <*obviously, shocked at the thought that she is hitting a milestone*> What made you so excited?
Little K: I’m going to get plenty of money from the tooth fairy!
Me: (I let that one go, since plenty of money may mean 1 dollar per tooth to her)________________
When she was having a hair cut,
The lady cutting Little K’s hair said: “Hey, Mommy and Daddy did you know that your daughter is expecting $100 per tooth from the tooth fairy?”‘
My husband and I just bursted out laughing!
The lady said: “You better talk to that tooth fairy and tell her to be prepared.”
_____________
Little K’s tooth was wiggling so much last Monday and I said that I will floss her. So I tied a loop around the tooth. Little K tried to run but the tooth was tied well and it just came off. When she saw it dangling on the string she started to cry. I asked why was she crying? She said because the tooth fairy wouldn’t want her tooth pulled out. I just said that the tip of her tongue is sore from trying to wiggle the tooth. It doesn’t matter to the tooth fairy on how the tooth came off her mouth. She slept with the tooth in a little cardboard box which was on her night stand. The tooth was so small!

That night, the tooth fairy came and left her a sparkly pretty wooden box with $5 dollars in it. She doesn’t give $100’s after all.

In the morning Little K was just too excited to see the sparkly box and forgot about getting 5 instead of 100.

Aaaw! A developmental milestone indeed! That sprakly box is brilliant - a diversion tactic disguised as a box! ;)

Hi Mary, To think the sparkly box is just $1 from our favorite dollar store! :)
    Hi Auntie Mila,
I have yet to call you! I didn’t even think of going to the dentist because Papa used to pull our wiggly tooth with a string too

    Hi Ate Belle,
Well, I kinda tricked her but the tooth was just hangging by a tiny gum skin.

Re: PPP, you can blog right? You can cut and paste text. Don’t be afraid and just read :) . You write well already. You will just be blogging about things you know. I’ve seen opportunities to blog about faucets, home improvement, mortage, credit cards, loans, tummy tuck… all these things are just easy to blog about. The opportunities I’m taking are the IT related ones because it’s what I know best.

    Hi Raq!

Oh my son gets excited too when he has a tooth about to fall. Here it’s P100 not $100. I do think P20 would be enough but somehow this amount became the constant tip from the tooth fairy.
