Hi Tina,

It is very nice to read how you have spent your Mother's Day! You definitely are a wife and mother now. When I think back how a career girl you were, it is very surprising how things turned out to be. I was suppose to be the home maker material or so I thought. Now, I'm 34, single and no prospective man in the horizon with a career that seems to head off on the direction it wants to go. Well, for one thing I still feel that in little ways, I have also been a mother and I hope it was a positive thing for all of us.

I love reading your stories when you visited the Philippines last. As people say, we come to appreciate the things we have only when we don't have them anymore. I can say that I do miss the fruits in the market when I see rotten bananas being sold for 3 USD for half dozen in the local market here.

All in all, life is still beautiful!

Hi Manang Badette,
So you are reading my blog ;) . Thank you for dropping by. Yeah, yeah I'm so domesticated. harharhar
My being the career girl feels like it was a different lifetime. But you never know I might re-invent myself to going back to work- I miss making moolah. hehehe
You have acheived what seems to have been so impossible when we were young. 3 USD for 1/2 a dozen? Wow! It's more expensive than here. For organic bananas, we get them 38 cents a pound here.
Love yah!

What was lil k's reaction when she saw the lechon?
_________
Hi Ate Girlie,
I can't recall the music but alot of the songs I didn't think was appropriate for their age.

Her reaction: Wow! Crispy skin! She knows golden skin is good from peking ducks.

So that's what you look like! Is that your Papa on the extreme right on Photo 1?

That was one big lechon! That much Lola loved Lolo... How many days did it take you to eat it all up?
_____________
Hi Ate Lisa,
My pic is on the 'about' page so it's no secret ;) . Yes, that's Papa on the extreme right.
The pig was really big. They reserved a good portion for my father side so we ended up eating the lechon for a few days.
