A Little Girl’s Future
By KK on Feb 20, 2007 in Darfur

It took more than a year before my older sister can send me a photo from where she is.
The pretty little girl in the picture is one of my sister’s patients. Her eyes haunts me and I can’t help thinking about her. I want her to be happy, healthy and safe . I worry about her future. I hope she touches your heart like she did mine.
I now understand the reasons why my sister insists in trying. Without help, children like her will not have a future.

Hi Analyse,
Thanks for dropping by and it’s good that some people are aware of what’s going on in Darfur.

every time i see darfur on tv, i always feel the helplessness of the people, more so, because of the doings of the bureaucracies. it’s really such a noble undertaking to be there. i will always pray for your sister and the likes of her. it’s difficult to comment on the picture…my heart bleeds.

Sexymom,
The change has to come from the Sudan government. The common people there just want to live their own lives. At least, with the media and more people getting involved now. There is a chance of stopping more genocide from happening.
Belle,
My sister and her team have been pulled out from where the little girl is because of the ambush.
