My First PTA Social

I know I haven’t posted much. I’ve been sorting out my stuff in this blog to be transferred to a personal blog. And I’m setting up, upgrading, learning etc… all those fun stuff. Well, not to mention being wife and a mom.
Anyways, last night I attended this parent-teachers get-together while my husband babysat our daughter. They set it up so that it was very casual. We(parents) helped the teachers cut-out crafts for our pre-schoolers while there’s a Pampered chef demonstration. We were given a taste of what we can create with all the gadgets we can buy from Pampered chef. It’s a fundraiser for the school. The school is doing a great job with the kids and they are actually reasonable compared to the other pre-schools around our area, so I don’t really mind helping out.
I was just thinking, “who would have known 6 years ago that I would be in a classroom full of chatting parents by this time?” I still am adjusting to the role.

yung akin, from 14 years old, ask na ako kung bakit may parents na mahigpit sa anak, meron namang hindi, mabuti pa rin ang bata?
Okey lang ba sex before marriage?
Okey lang ba try ng alcohol?
Okey lang ba tikim sigarilyo?
Pano ba malaman , mama if totoo ang manliligaw sa isang babae?
Haaay, di ko kaya…
Sana, handa ka na soon, di gaya ko noon, wala maisagot!

i really get scared when i hear PTAs…now that my kiddos are getting older…di na sila goody goody like they used to…
motherhood is really a very big challenge…kaya natin to!
