Word of the Day: Pupating
By KK on May 25, 2006 in Mommy Files
My daughter was playing with her playdough when she came up to me and showed me what she has created. In her hand was a ball of white playdough. She raised it to my eye-level and said: “Do you know what this is? It’s a chysilus. There is a butterfly inside and it’s pupating.” She started to slowly break the dough in half to reveal one of her plastic butterflies. I was just amazed. Pupating? That’s the first time I have ever heard that word. I asked her where she learned the word from, she said: Little Einsteins.
I highly recommend Little Einstein DVDs. They are excellent gift/s to your child or as a gift for a child.
For babies, you can start them with Baby Einsteins. Most of the people who meet my daughter asks me where she goes to school and they won’t believe me if I told them she just stays home.
