After a 2-day ‘photo-finish’ on-the-task learning process, I have finally configured my own WordPress installation. I had to recall my domain, html and ftp concepts from 1998. My background on system administration, database administration and web server application came in handy too. I had to put on my ‘night-owl hat’ that had been put away last 2001 to give way to the ‘mommy hat’.
I can say that it didn’t go without emotional outbursts but then I’m only human. I just want to thank my husband for his patience and understanding.
I also want to thank our Linux guru for all his assistance.
It took 8 years for me to get excited to develop a website again. I finally found a content management system that lets me do what I want to do.
My thanks to WordPress, Php, MySql, Linux, Apache. Go open source!
